Exploring Ann Arbor from Above: A Springtime Flight Adventure

Featured Drone Video

On a recent off day, I decided to indulge in a bit of aerial exploration, and it turned out to be a delightful adventure. Sometimes, I get the chance to fly purely for the fun of it, and this was one of those days. My flight took me over the picturesque Barton Park Nature Area and the serene dam on Barton Pond, offering a fresh perspective on familiar sights.

Though the weather was a bit drizzly—definitely not the most glamorous day in Ann Arbor—there’s something quite magical about seeing the city’s landscapes through a misty lens. Spring was definitely in the air, and that subtle rain added a unique charm to the scenery.

As I flew northward, I captured some beautiful shots of the small dam along the nature walk, adding a touch of tranquility to the footage. One of the highlights of the flight was capturing a glimpse of the iconic Big House, a standout landmark in Ann Arbor, which was a treat to see from above.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue this aerial exploration and expand my collection of footage. My plan is to fly around the surrounding cities and build a comprehensive library of local footage. Stay tuned for more views from the sky as I document the beauty and character of the areas around me!
